OUR ROOTS
What started as a curious homebrew habit for our founder, Preston—a pre-med/biology major—quickly turned into a full-blown passion. In a bold move, he swapped med school applications for mash tuns and fermenters, and Captain Fatty’s was born. Over the last 10 years, we've grown from a backyard brew set up into a beloved community brewery. Today, Captain Fatty’s isn’t just a brewery—it’s a gathering place for friends, neighbors, and beer lovers to connect, relax, and enjoy great craft beer together.
